McIntosh Trail Community Service Board offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families within a seven county area. Services are authorized through the regional board and are based on the service descriptions identified through the NOW and COMP waivers.  Individualized budgets and service plans are developed with the service coordinator, the individual and family and may include an array of services.  Services provided through McIntosh Trail CSB include:

Community Access – designed to assist individual in acquiring, retaining or improving self-help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active participation and independent functioning outside of the home setting.

Prevocational – prepares an individual for paid or unpaid employment through skill building and focus on work day situations including attendance and safety.

Supported Employment -  provides support and services to individuals engaged in competitive employment.

Community Residential Alternative (CRA) -  targeted for people who require intense levels of residential support in small group settings of four or less. These residential settings are Community Living Arrangements (CLA), Personal Care Homes (PCH) and host home/life sharing arrangements.

Community Living Support (CLS) -  individually tailored supports that assist with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to a participant's continued residence in his or her family home.

Family Support Services -  Family Support Services is a non-entitlement program which brokers disability specific services based on each individual and families unique needs. These supports meet every day needs that are often critical in avoiding family crises. The goal of Family Support Services is to assist in maintaining a cohesive family unit and to assist the individual to live at home in the community.

State Funded Respite Services -  Respite Services provide brief periods of support or relief for individuals with disabilities or their caregivers.
