Addictive Diseases
Substance abuse treatment is available to adolescents and adults presenting with an addictive disease. Assessments are based on the ASAM criteria which identifies the level of care needed as indicated by their treatment needs. A range of outpatient services are available which includes diagnostic, psychiatric evaluation, nursing services, group and family involvement. Other services include court ordered evaluations, multiple offender evaluations, assessments for the Department of Family and Children Services, risk reduction, family violence and anger management. Services are provided at one of the six counseling centers, but all services may not be available at all centers; however, individuals will be linked to the center most convenient to their needs.
